Chris Columbus and John Hughes' festive classic made Macaulay Culkin a star. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern take a slapstick beating as the Wet Bandits, John Williams' score brings the Christmas magic, and Catherine O'Hara's frantic dash home gives it real heart.
